About
Around the world there are now festivals of all shapes and sizes - from independent film festivals in rural regions, to huge music events in inner cities. What all successful festivals have in common - other than a sense of community and celebration - is a big focus on production.
A festival producer works across a festival (or group of festivals): organizing vendors, managing schedules, deploying budgets, curating talent, and overcoming the many challenges that inevitably come with producing a live event with hundreds or even thousands of moving parts.
