Resilience

Resilience means knowing how to cope in the face of setbacks, or barriers, or limited resources. It's a measure of how much you want something and how much you are willing, and able, to overcome obstacles to get it.

Resilience is important as it enables us to develop mechanisms for protection against experiences which could be overwhelming, and helps us to maintain balance in our lives during difficult or stressful periods.

Resilience often comes from being adaptable, flexible, open, and demonstrating self-control.
