Radiation Therapist


Radiation therapists are part of oncology teams. Working closely with radiation oncologists and medical physicists, radiation therapists plan and administer radiation treatments to patients who have cancer or other serious diseases, with the goal of shrinking or removing cancers and tumors.

They operate specialized equipment such as linear accelerators to deliver concentrated radiation therapy to the region of a patient's tumor.
