Studio Photographer

Studio Photographers work in a studio setting to take pictures of individuals, objects, or groups of people for use in magazines, websites and other media. They often use backdrops, lighting, filters, props and other set pieces to create the desired effect for photographs.

Unlike other types of photographer, most of their work will be done in their studio, and many studio photographers will use crew members on a freelance or full-time basis to assist with lighting, set design, or other aspects of production.

Studio photographers are usually self-employed, although many will work through a manager or agent of some kind to help them negotiate and secure projects.
