For a long time, personal trainers had a reputation of being vanity-focused bodybuilders. In recent years however, trainers have become a key part of helping people dig into their personal barriers and motivations for being active, and to fulfil their potential.

Trainers understand the foundations of functional exercise, nutrition, and exercise science; design exercise programs for individuals and small groups; are able to motivate clients in an encouraging and uplifting way; and deliver results in ways that are engaging, safe, varied and enjoyable.
