About
Medical photography is a specialized area of photography that documents information on patients, medical and surgical procedures, and medical devices. Medical photographers use their photography knowledge, along with medical content knowledge, to perform on-site photography services required for surgical and clinical procedures, document injuries and diseases, record a patient's medical progress over time, or photograph autopsies. They capture images that are used for measurement and analysis, or to support medical or scientific reports, articles or research papers.
