Some say the rise of autonomous vehicles and improved mass transit systems may spell a decline in car use, and therefore there will be a decreased need for parking lots. However, the new wave of vehicles will still need somewhere to be stored, transferred, and parked. The parking lots of tomorrow may look a little different than the parking lots of today.
