They operate private or group practices in their own offices or in the facilities of other institutions such as hospitals. Podiatrists treat issues such as infectious and parasitic diseases; endocrine, nutritional and metabolic diseases; circulatory system diseases; skin and subcutaneous tissue diseases; and musculoskeletal system and connective tissue diseases.
